T<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">his beha<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">viour violates the c<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">onv<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">entional theory of superconductivit<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">y<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">, and its origin has posed a long<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">-standing puz<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">zle. <\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">Here w<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">e r<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">eport sy<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">stematic measur<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">ements of the critical magnetic field and current on amorphous indium o<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">xide films with vari<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">ous lev<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">els of disorder<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">. Surprisingly<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">, our measurements show that the B<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">c2<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\"> anomaly is acc<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">ompanied by mean-<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">field-lik<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">e scaling of <\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">the critical current. Based on a c<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">omprehensiv<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">e theoretical study w<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">e argue that these observ<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">ations are a c<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">onsequenc<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">e of the <\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">v<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">ortex<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">-glass gr<\/span><span class=\"current-selection\">ound state and its thermal fluctuations.
